its original meaning was for something degrading so why did we make a variation on the word and expect it to mean something good?

Your acting like showtime made the variation and is asking people to use n-gga rather than n-gger...hes simply asking for people to stop useing it on the forum. In all.

but see theres a big difference
the n word really offends people and people get angry over it
if i called you snowflake/cracka/whitey you would just laugh it off

edit: Actually its because some made the word to take over for n-gger except to reply towards whites...

TBH, i don't think you should care show...i understand...but just ignore it...especially because its over the internet.

it doesnt affect the race at all the most it should do is affect the people who were actually enslaved....if you never actuall were around during the times of slavery it shouldn't mean anything to you

I understand partially...but "if you never actuall were around during the times of slavery it shouldn't mean anything to you" ofcourse its going to effect you. Knowing that, that happened, knowing that a lot of people still feel that it was okay about it, and knowing that a lot of people use that word. but you cant say anything because your not in there shoes. Even though it was a while ago...it still does effect people.

    For example.
The 9-11 attack. And the word terrorist used against Arabs, and usually just in general used against brown people.
When the next generation is alive, and if the word is still used to offend the brown race...its still going to effect them.

But as I said to show, ignore it...its the internet. I understand if its in RL. I don't take what people say too seriously over the internet =/

why should i feel offended by a word that was used to insult slaves?

its different if someone walked up to a brown guy and called him a terrorist but for a person to come up to me and call me a word that wasn't even made for my people shouldn't offend me

but see it was made for my people...
during the rosa parks/MLK era people used the n word more then ever...
during that time was when it made the most impact on the black socity...the n word being used in the modern era
Edit: so your black and you dont care about the n word? do you not know anything about black history?
In the United States, the word was freely used by most whites and some blacks until the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s.
