Nice effects (smudging?) and I like the red. But the white throws me off a bit. I'd prefer a bit of a darker bg, perhaps with some brown shades. More like the bg in your current sig actually.
Also, I'd prefer no text

 

most of my tags are dark so i was trying out a light background, and i actually tried throwing brown in the background then realized how similar it was to my current . but thank you very much sir .

 

It's good to try new things though
And the more I look at it, the better it gets actually. Now it gives me that crumbled paper-like look and I can see some serious depth in it
