Bit Of Help Please?

    I recently built my new pc. It turns on but when its about to look for the CD to install windows it turns off, When i start the computer again it doesnt display anything on screen. I have to clear CMOS and try again, I also get an error code on the postscreen (on motherboard 2A) Any help please?

    Ive asked Abit about it and they said the ram, but it cant be, Im using the same ram now as i am in the other pc and it works fine on this board

    u sure the new board supports your type of ram? not pin but like some support max of 2 gb or 4gb, and u might have more u know what i mean?

    also might be a bad mobo, if u have enough parts, check all hardware with the pc ur using now

    hm..as you built your PC

    Ill say check every connection (right way round)

    Check connectors .. power & other cables

    Firmly check the motherboard - And make sure your parts that you have bought are compatible if they are not then thats your issue :)
