Makes sense, Latin America is catching up to America with technology and now everybody probably has a cell phone.
Bill wasn't the richest for a while. There are a few emporers worth more over in Asia, and his salary is quite low considering hes the CEO of the largest computer software OS company in the entire world. Most of his wealth came from his ancestors, whom were equally as successful as he is. He also makes multiple donations, is forced to pay taxes, etc. (how would you like to pay taxes on $60 billion+?). Suprised some people are just figuring this out now.
Well, I knew he wasnt going to be the richest forever, but didn't think he wont be for some more time
damn.... lol. well, if he didnt give away so much money he would probably still be the richest man. But giving is better.
In my econ class a chicano friend of mine and I were talking about this happening a few months ago. he basically said that he saw this coming. on another note, if you consider how much Gate's has given to charity I think we can see why he's no longer the richest man alive.
probably wouldn't amtter since it's not like billgates assets were 100% tied to the dollar, also mexico keeps their money pretty close to ours as a matter of policy so it's unlikely that that would matter.
