everytime i log in, which doesn't always work anyway, but i have a problem when i try to connect to a server, every time this happens, the first server i click on, bf2 closes, makes 2 noises like brung brung XD, and then re-opens saying i've lost connection to the server, and i sometimes get lagg even when my pings below 20 :S, can anyone help?

Ok. Make sure you have all up to date drivers. That includes your BIOS for your motherboard. And Make sure you have enough RAM! if you have 512MB you must know that your system uses RAM continuously. Read the manual!
