they both are preety plain, but if i had to pic one thats better i would say the top one, cause the bottom one is too dark

your sig is pretty good, just keep working on it... i'm not saying you should copy anybodys sigs or anything, but just look at a few other peoples sigs and you will get kinda some ideas of styles that go well together, then use tutorials from here, www.good-tutorials.com, www.purephotoshop.com, www.biorust.com ^_^.
