Running a prebuilt pc that has Mobo has agp, has SD-RAM (that really old stuff - thats which one that is right.. xD) Intel Celeron 1.8ghz SiS gfx 256mb RAM 75gb HD - half full What should I get to get best performance for just normal program using, AIM, FireFox, AOL, Office, Paint, possibly PS but doubt it, etc... No games is what I'm tryin to say xP
get some more RAM as a general use machine that would be all it really needs. also run windows 2000 or 2003.
yes, upgrade your ram to your board's capacity, sdram is really cheap.. maybe get that $10 gfx card at tiger direct, that used to have that $10 rebate... and, yes, 2000 or 2003
Revert back to older windows versions, XP uses 256mb of ram. And wow, your pc is worse than mine but it has the double the hard disk space
I cant find sdram that cheap.. like I'd figured it'd be extremely low but couldnt find anything that good. and I cant change down to 2000/2003/98 anything... not my PC really, my sisters, she wouldnt want to. Ram may end up doin it... also thinking about getting my 2.0ghz celeron while I'm changing from my non-working PC... 200mhz makes a difference!
