Best Resident Evil Game?

Well I think I am not forgetting any other version lol
So what do you think?
IMO it's Code Veronica X... amazing history, great graphics and best soundtrack ever... RE 4 is way too overated imo. The graphics are good but there is no horror on it at all and zombies are much more fun than those dumb villagers.

I voted for 2. I've only played 2, 1, and 4. Beaten all of them. 2 is my fav simply because of the story, and it was my first. ^_^

 

Resident Evil Two by far.

i like all the games (and ive played all of them - 0-4 and also all the survivors...) cant wait to see and play RE 5 that will be great. at least it looks great so far

 

nr 5 is going to be the best but for now its nr 4 on ps2

 

RE 4 is by far the best resident evil game to date.

 

Resident Evil Code Veronica on the Dreamcast is the best Resident Evil game I ever played... Claire Redfield FTW!

 

I have, and i still vote for RE4, it may not be the scariest, but it does have the best gameplay.

I have played every RE game and rarely have I been disappointed by them, just like Silent Hill, Parasite Eve, etc. but in the end I choose RE4 (mainly because I vaguely remember the others and my PS is down, so I cant replay them, so I am playing the CG ones that I have and RE4 is my favorite out of those).

 

RE4 imo.

 

RE4, the controls are easier to use and the graphics are very good for a ps2.

 

The controls are the same as every other gamecube RE


And to whoever quoted my comment about whether or not RE4 was the peoples' first game, I simply said that because many like it because they haven't played the others OR couldn't get used to the others. I can understand liking it along with the others, it's a great game.
