Surely then SM:64*4 kicks Galaxy into touch? (haven't played it but SM:64 and its DS revival were both far better than SM:S on GC)
pSHAW! nothing special? did you play through it?! i couldnt get through sunshine (the fludd controls were too awkward) but i absolutely tore through galaxy. im not saying sunshine was bad, but galaxy was soooo much better.
yes I played it, and it sucks Imo. and it's for small kids and nintendo fanboys anyway... also I don't think you should be able to finish a game in just 1 day... <-(but yes that proves it's for small kids)
I think the statement "i tore through galaxy" was more meaning that it kept him playing rather than becoming stale after a while of playing than showing it was a fast and easy game. Some of the best games out there have been relatively short, just look at Wind Waker or Pikmin.
lol compared to OOT I think Zelda II: Link is way more fun to play one of the first side to overhead scroller for any console and is way too fun not to like
Apart from the fact that it wasn't made by Nintendo and therefore doesn't enter into this conversation...
If you don't want kids games, don't get a Wii, problem solved. Your the one who bought the kiddy system, don't be all /emo if you get kiddy games with the kiddy system (whodathunkit?). Frankly, Nintendo only releases games they know will sell well, so its hard to really limit them to a particular game, but I think SM64 had a playstyle that kept me playing. OoT was awesome... till you beat it, then it was lack luster at best. Mario games have always caught my eye and kept my attention longer than Zelda games.
I wouldn't say Nintendo games are "kiddy" games anymore. There are alot of mature adults (25-50) that enjoy playing the "kiddy" games these days. Maybe not hardcore online gamers, more like, enjoying the non-online experience and enjoy playing with friends or children. -
