massively multiplayed online role playing game or something similar to that line. Basically it means its a BIG RPG that has a large community you can play with.
60 Shaman/rogue/Warrior on klethuzad in WoW.... 65 Shillien Knight/7x Silver Ranger in Lineage 2.... Most mmorpg's suck right now. I've dabbled in them all. WoW has nothing to do all day until raids start. and Lineage 2 is the biggest stupidest grind to level out there. They need a free PvP mmorpg. none of this carebear crap. I hear theres a new one coming out...farcry online. or F something. supposedly nice. can do anything ya want. from merchant to pirate to private island owner. We'll see.
i played Guildwars, World of warcraft, Starwars galaxies and Lineage2. My top: 1: SWG 2: WoW 3: L2 4: GW
proflax you played since the 2nd combat upgrade? i know for a fact that 70% of my online friends that played it including me quit after the 2nd combat up grade it made the game so gay
Final Fantasy XI Online I am totally hooked into the game, my friend been playing it for three years now and he showed me a while ago and I been playing ever since, does not really get boring that fast. Always something to do, and new quest/updates on a regular basis. I cost only $13.00 a month, which I think is very cheap!
Best ones I have played are Ragnarok Online and Lineage 2. Both are very fun but Lineage 2 there's lots of Walking -_-' But RO definantly recommended.
I've played a ton of MMOs, including but not limited to: The Realm Online (Sierra's first online game!), Ragnarok Online, Guild Wars, World of Warcraft, Dark Ages, Dark Age of Camelot, and Eve Online. Those are just the ones that stick out. I've done trials of all the major ones, like EQ and such. I didn't stick with them past the trial though, so I don't feel that it counts. Of all of the ones I've played, I would have to say that for sheer gameplay possiblities, Eve Online wins hands down as the best ever MMO. The combat, the crafting, the politics, it's got it all. Only problem is the learning curve's shaped like a cliff :/ so it takes awhile to really get the hang of it. But if you like open ended content, Eve's got it in spades.
everquest...thats like the only mmorpg that i have played...i was gonna get star wars galaxies but i decided not to
best one by far ive played is world of warcraft, doesnt get much better than that IMO. to me its fun and to me tahts all that matters.!
EverQuest or EverQuest 2... Dark Age of Camelot was fun for awhile also... I've played World of Warcraft too and must say its way overhyped... so is Guild Wars.
