The best games I've played in all my life would be:
    a)Resident Evil 4
    b)Gran Theft Auto: San Andreas
c)Metal Gear Solid 3 (although it is a little different from the series)

    1) Halo: Combat Evolved for Xbox
    2) Half Life 2 for PC
    3) Need for Speed III - Hot Pursuit for PC (I played this all the time when I was like 8, it was my favorite game in the world)

for old games I'd have to say:
    1) The Legends of Zelda: A Link to the Past (SNES)
    2) Super Mario Bros. (NES)
    3) Final Fantasy 7 (PS1)

    New would have to be:

    1) Resident Evil 4 (GC and PS2)
    2) Devil May Cry (PS2)
    3) Killzone (PS2)

(No I did not say the Newest because I am a PS2 fanboy, I liked those games more than most others.)

    Legend of Zelda: OoT
    Super Mario Brothers
Baten Kaitos (More for the story telling and environment than gameplay, though it was reallly good in that department as well)

Frankkly, those last two are interchangable for me with about 40 other games, but LoZ.OoT will always be the best game of all time. Everyone knows and loves that game.
