I agree 100% with you... Snes is one of the best consoles out there,it just has so many legendary games(Chrono Trigger,Final Fantasy games...)... PS2,is also great console...it has Devil May Cry,Final Fantasy,Metal Gear Solid...ahh....sweetness assured...
Go down to your local Slacker's, buy a SNES pack for $50, get some good games for it, and your good. Trust me, you won't be disapointed. Now, if you want to know what's the best out of this gen and the next, it depends on what you like. Do you like FPS's? Go with the Xbox. Do you like turn-based RPGs? Go with the PS2. Do you like Nintendo's pool of games? Go with GC. Keep in mind all three consoles are diverse, it's just they have games that are stronger in their own category than the other consoles. Now, I can't (nor can really anyone else) judge the next-gen consoles that aren't out yet. The Xbox 360 has some very nice features, but the games aren't diverse enough yet, so I'd wait out until there are more good games out for it and the price drops. I won't tell you my opinion on the Playstation 3 or Nintendo Revolution, because I haven't played them, so it wouldn't be justifiable enough, although I will give you links to sites that show the consoles. http://ps3.ign.com/ http://revolution.ign.com/
