no offence but the pack? Wow dude idk how you could put lupe and the pack in the same post. But everyone has their opinions. The Cool was one of the 2 best CDs ive heard this year. Mood Musik 3 was the other one
Pig Destroyer's "Phantom Limb" or Behemoth's "The Apostasy". Another album that surprised me was Through The Eyes Of The Dead's "Malice".
Thurston Moore's second solo album is surprisingly good stuff. Feels like old school Sonic Youth with some folkish acoustic guitar. Great stuff.
just as long as its not crap. and not too political. American Idiot was good but too political. but really guys. Icky Thump owned every other album released this past year.
It was probably the best big mainstream album released this year, but there was better, IMO. "Rag & Bone" is beyond catchy. American Idiot was a conceptual DISASTER to me. Honestly, it's a slap to the face to quality conceptual music as Welcome to the Black Parade was a slap to the face to true, quality, progressive rock. Dookie was a great album though.
Chamillionaire's Ultimate Victory was tha bomb <3 T.I's T.I vs T.I.P was tha other bomb <3 50 cent's Curtis was okay, Though I don't like 50 for my own reasons Fall Out Boy's Infinity on High was anotha bomb Yung Joc's Hustnomic$ was good
Graduation was nice, he gets better every album tbh. Dirty Acres - CunninLynguists was awesome No World For Tomorrow - Coheed and Cambria, step up from FTTEOM Bone Palace Ballet - Chiodos made me love the band Below The Heavens - Blue & Exile is my album of the year.
Phobia - Breaking Benjamin was cool No World For Tomorrow - Coheed and Cambria Egypt Central's cd named after the band was good.
I've given this some more thought, and I have to say that the best album release of 07, without a doubt is... Chase This Light - Jimmy Eat World
A tie for my favorite album of '07 is Manipulator from The Fall of Troy and Planet of Ice from Minus the Bear
