IDEA GUYS I ran this by Kirbir and she thinks it's a good idea and I think this might be one of the best things for newcomers and to help them out in a big way. I have in the works of making a crew that is a branch off of this one but strickly for those who are not yet up for the challenge of a full blown crew. This crew would be called the Bare Canvas little League and would involve Volunteers from BC going and recruiting new members if they see em and asking them if they would like to join the crew and at least once a week giving them 5 assignments 1 a day and have the weekend off with one big monthly assignment. I would like if you guys and gals ^_- would participate but you do not have to this is strictly by your own generosity to help those who started off just like you and I.

I am running this by you not only to inform you but to also get your thoughts into it. I really wanted to give back to the GR community and take the standard of help BC members always wanted to do a step further... and hey you'll be apart of something new to gamerenders.

It'd b nice but there have been branches off Bare Canvas Before...and they ended up not working out. The only thing that would make this work is having everything organized and a set list of things to do and people for it because if u just get a couple people and ur not sure what to do it will become inactive and fall apart extremely quick. just make sure you have an organized list of things to do first beforehand is my only adviceee. but yeah its a nice idea.

 

believe me I am not even gonna launch it til I have at least three months worth of stuff for the members to do and I am also writing more tuts and exclusive psds for both BC and the branch off I wanna do. this might take me a week or two to even set up and then for the first week I am gonna have to constantly update it to make sure I can fine tune everything.

nice tag m8, >3 the render but the coloring (purple/orange gradient map) brings it down

 

Everyone interested in helping him out with this crew for the newer members to graphics should maybe meet at some point on msn/irc and have a discussion on what we could do/get them to do in regards to assignments and such.

I love the idea and think it could go far, to be honest this crew was first made to do just that but it became more of a umm.. 'advanced' designer crew, though i love it how it is now, ive kind of missed letting the new guys in who have needed help with their designing.

I have told Galione that i will help in anyway that i can when i have some free spare time to do so, as you all know i am still rather ill and having some problems in regards to my job, i am currently taking both companies i worked for to court, so theres alot of things that need doing and organizing to do that, thus another reason why i have not been on as much as usual.

Plus i also resigned from my job as that has also made me rather ill, the stress of what they did and how they treated me before and after i was suspended and removed off site and put onto another site have not helped me either.

In regards to our own crew section.

I have been waiting for you guys to make/and or decide on the banner we are going to use under our names, i really like the one with wings but i need you guys to decide on the ones you like also, they can be found in the assignment thread. As soon as that has been sorted i will be able to request our own section.
