i think it looks really nice, inverse! i think some of the streaky swirls in the center under the gun could be lighter.

he has a light source, but what you should look at in this is how he's enhanced the lighting and shadow of the render itself. look at the right shoulder and the left chestplate especially.

of course, he's one of the greatest designers ever, but its good reference.
