nice tags guys. loving the buckethead 1, soz i cant remember who made it. i just scrolled through. fotc - on your latest, tighten your effects. they're going this way, that way, any which way if you get what i mean. when you make a tag, try and get it to make sense as a whole. lots of good effects put together badly can suck. you got it together in the spiderman 1 above that, just do it consistently.

"Its really hard to do a good text at the start. The technique is to look in other works or in a magazines. One technique about text is make your main text more visible then your sub is less visible. Low the opacity of your sub text. Also use atleast 2 different fonts. Hope that give help.
You may disagree with me, but I've gotten so much better with text in the last few months, so I might offer a little advice. Text relies on composition, bad compo? Bad text. You can have the coolest looking text in the world, but if the placement's off, you might as well have left it out. Also, like Humac said, have your main text big and visible, and your sub text smaller and more decorative. Also, do not be under the impression that text should be hidden. Good text, which stands out, but isn't overpowering the focal, is what you should be aiming for. EDIT: Also, if you don't use the Character window, start as of now (cept for you gimpers). Using character spacing etc makes big difference.
