just got back from Pinkpop, which is one of the major music festivals in the Netherlands (3 days, 60.000 people a day) and took a lot of pictures. most are just me and friends goofing off, but some stuff is worth posting I think. this is the first I post worked, hopefully more to come!
oh and an artist shot that happened to turn out pretty nice (snapshot camera and no press access kinda makes this stuff hard )
Hey, some places will give you a press pass if you just ask! I could get into some local boxing games at the casino if I were a year older and but asked, since I have a colleague who shoots regularly there. They love free publicity Not bad for a point and shoot, would look awesome if you could use your other camera, but I feel your pain. I went to a concert at the last minute (seriously, was an hour late. Friend had extra tickets and called ten minutes before it started to say we could come), so I didn't get to ask them if I could photograph it with my D40. They definitely would have noticed a 300mm lens sticking out in the crowd :lol:. The whole time I was thinking how badly I wanted my camera. That first shot is awesome. That's really all I can say about it. I love the sunset and how you capture the crowd. Perfect moment to be shooting
