    i need some help with azureus,

    when i downlaod torrets with it it downloads at about 11kbs. and i'm on a 2mb conection, can anyone that uses the programs help me, or sugest a better program for downloading torrets?

    depends on how many people you are connected to and how many files are downloading at the same time for me if im on the internet doing something say on here my DL Speeds will be faster

    ye it kinda helps i alreayd knew most of it, but i was thinking maybe its something to do with the setting, i'm only d/l one thing and its goin really slow, this guy i know said he had 60kbs/pre sec

    BitComet. It's pretty good.
    Programs are different for everyone, so try as many as you can.

    Yeah, some programs download things incredibly slow for me. As for azureus, it goes really fast. I didnt even have to do anything to the settings. I usually just stock pile a bunch of torrents, let my comp run them over night, and in the morning there all done.

    I guess you can go through some guides and try to config Azureus so it works better for you or else try a different program like BitComet ect.

    Are you getting NAT errors. yellow smiley. If so you have to open a port. i recommend using 10000 which is what i use.

    try utorrent instead, it runs alot faster.

    Yep it sounds like that - If yellow the speed is snail speed :D

    So you have to open a port - Theres a page on Azureus's help page for suitable ports :) OOr you can try 10000 as Mr.Defuz said :)

    there are no suitable ports without opening some. You cannot use bittorrent without opening ports through your router/modem.
