Avi To Gif?

ya image ready should work

 

I see the new version works with avi however avi are huge and may even crash imageready so if you want to do the long way and work with a smaller file size like me then

Convert the avi to mov and import that mov into IR & that should work

or download VirtualDub (free) to cut out the part of a large avi you want and save as a smaller avi that is openable in imageready

 

Camtasia Studio You can load the AVI up in the program, then export it directly to GIF if you wish

 

For converting avi to gif I use Video Userpic. This is easy program there I can make movie avatar and not lost a lot of time.
