After reading a few posts in this thread (1st & 2nd page), I would like to only state that in my opinion none of you is going to even consider thinking about what the other person is trying to convey, it is a little impossible to any of you to understand properly what Religions try to deliver unless they are studied from a reliable source. People who say that there is no God, are in simple words, wrong! Prove that there is no God. I don't understand how someone as educated as some people here won't believe that there is a God and only one God, who has created the universe and everything that exists including us, the Humans. I know its useless to debate on this subject as it won't have an effect on either one of us unless we are weak in Faith or by chance understand the theory that is being explained by someone. It is impossible for me to convert to any other religion as I am proud that my religion is more clearer than water itself, it is just perfect! If anyone of you knows the correct history of Islam, he would know how Islam has come into being and what Islam offers, by 2015, the number of Muslims in the world would be equal to Christians according to this chart and then cross the figures and finally be the majority in the world. Now I also have a very wonderful presentation on Islam if anyone is willing to understand the religion and study/educate his/herself from it. Talking about Jihad, its nothing has shown by the media and it has exactly nothing to do with Terrorism which most of the media channels portray it alongside. So stop posting crap about Jihad if you don't know what exactly it is, none of your opinions about Islam/Jihad are close to be believe as a fact and are completely biased. Anyone willing to have the presentation about Islam can feel free to ask me for it and I am will PM the link to him/her. Uhm, am I supposed to CARE if you don't like it? And how do you know it's wrong, if you didn't read the whole thing? Wait, nevermind, I really don't care. As for Islam, go read the Koran. Whole thing.
Actually, the way you have it spelled is wrong. "Koran" is a correct spelling as is "Qur'an." Ok? I really don't want to talk about religion even though I have studied the major ones very closely. It's too touchy, and people are far too ignorant to even bother discussing farther than small bits. Keep it to yourself.
And comments like that, are why I bear little respect for the major religions. I've got no problem with religions, honestly, I love the fact that a book can unite millions and millions of people and make them happy, make them un-afraid of death. However, I've got my beliefs, you've got yours, I believe in Atheism (Actually I do believe there's a god, but modern religion is far too corrupt to come any where near it). Prove there is a god. Prove there isn't a god. You can't do either, maybe I'm wrong and there really is a god, whether it be Christian, Judaism or Pastafarianism. Maybe you're wrong, and there isn't, maybe there isn't anything after this life. But we're all entitled to our own views, just don't push yours on other people.
Now what you have said has only increased your respect. I honestly think you're one educated fellow apart from all this debate and argument that you really do have manners! Thanks for such a ----- reply, although I can prove there is a God but I just am too lazy/don't have time to do that now. But yes, we must not force our beliefs on someone else (Y)
You can prove something, that no one else in the history of human existance has ever been able to prove? You can't prove god, it's impossible, just in the same way you can't prove that there isn't a god. I'm really curious as to how you justify that statement, at all.
Let me put this forward as well - I'm not a believer in Christianity. I believe that whoever "God" is in the Bible is just a being who exists in five dimensions, four of which he can manipulate, kinda like humans are four-dimensional, able to manipulate three. There might be more than one of them. Greek and Roman mythology, Egyptian mythology, Hinduism, etc.. I'm not set to one god. But let's just say that there is this race of omnipotent beings who can manipulate time and space. How can I, as a human, hold myself above them in terms of intelligence? If they do exist, it means that they created the universe. They might have created it and left, created it and helped it along, or just accidentally knocked something over and whoops, big bang. Regardless, they know more than me if they do exist. If not, I'll be damned, I was being a good man with a sense of morals for nothing. I guess I could be lying, stealing, cheating, and murdering people, but I actually kinda like this "morality" thing that the religion teaches. Now, I know that I use a lot of analogy, but it's the only way to explain something like this. Do you know how a bear trap works? It's a device set up to clamp into a limb with jagged teeth, and to keep an animal from going anywhere. To disarm one, if you are caught in one, you must push the jaws INWARDS until it unclamps itself. Imagine that you see an animal stuck in such a trap. You want to help it out. You walk over and try to push in the jaws to release the trap, and in doing so, you cause the animal a ridiculous amount of pain. He snaps at you with his fangs and swipes at you with his claws. You're trying to help the animal, but he doesn't understand, and there's nothing you can do to change that. The animal cannot think as well as you can. If there is a god, I sure hope that he's smarter than an internet forum, even if it is GameRenders. I'm not a Christian. But I do believe in Jesus. I'm not a Buddhist but I do believe in Buddha. Both of those men were great teachers, and in life, one of the greatest things that we can do is learn.
