Asus motherboards are fantastic! Those are the ONLY ones I use for my computers. However, Asus computers haven't been around for quite sometime now, so I'm going to assume it's a bit older. Don't worry though, it still is a decent machine. I have known plenty of people who have had one with no problems.

umm WTF is CP talking about ASUS, still makes motherboards...

for the most part, ASUS makes excellent motherboards, though I've heard they are better for intel systems than AMD systems.

EDIT: misread, CP is correct, I have not seen ASUS brand computers on the US.

    Asus is best with Intel.

    DFI is best with AMD.

I have never bought an Asus myself, but I have reccomended it to other people.

edit: the only way you will know if it is good is if you use it, simply said...

I have an ASUS graphics card, it runs hot but I bought a new cooler for it anyways. I would recommend thier products. I have never seen an actualy ASUS desktop ... only barebone computers on thier website.

Asus makes good MBs, in fact one of the best, and pretty descent graphics card on the nVidia chipset. But the comps arent too much to brag about. They run clean, but arent that fast. But thats probably bacuase they are pretty old :D
