its a waste of money to be searching for random planets that aren't even in our solar system, but thats pretty cool. so, hold on, if the planet was smaller than one of earth's oceans and we put it in the ocean, it would float? thats crazy!
yeah but it would also cuase most everything to get enveloped by the water anywho thats pretty cool i read it in the newspaper yesterday i think...
yeah....everybody knows that knowledge is useless, duh. on a side note, my spacebar keep getting stuck.
I'm sure in due time when we have the appropriate resources we will find a way to exploit and ultimately destroy this new planet. Interesting read though. A year on that planet is less than a week on ours. Weird.
Wow! That's one fast planet! @ Broken: Are you saying that people should never look beyond our own planet because it's "useless" and "wasted a lot of money"? Who are you to dictate what is useless and a waste of money? (I understand that this money comes from the government, which comes from taxes, but still. The point stands that exploration is part of human nature).Unless you are an avid astronomer, then I would leave this to the experts who know what they're talking about.
Ok. You can satisfy humans need for curiosity and exploration, or you can save lives. Take your pick.
