Nice text, placement is off.

Good lighting placement but bad technique.

Try to blend your render more around the edges by brushing slightly over it and incorperate some more brushes, its a bit repetative, not bad but needs work.

Try soem tutorials i nthe free tut's section they can help out a great deal getting the basics down and you'll soon move to more advanced work.

Thanks, and yea, I was experimenting with some background patterns, which I usually don't use, but, nothing gained without anything lost
I agree the bg is a bit repetitive.

effects/bg look low quality.

 

needs a little work on the text , but a good sig .... that grungy style background takes me back a few years lol ... good times

 

Yea, lol, this brush set is from maybe 3 years ago.
(I still haven't learned the new techniques)

 

I dont really like the Scanlines.. Otherwise not bad
