I got bad rep for voicing my opinion in a topic about a hacker. The person who gave me bad rep frankly had nothing to do with what I was posting, or was even mentioned. I only tried to put across my point. Surely this is abusing the reputation system?

I didn't give you a -rep for saying your opinion. I gave you it for saying "but a MODERATOR bieng a known HACKER". There wasn't enough proof of him being a hacker, and the proof that was posted was eventually disproved by Logic. Hence my -rep comment "You don't even know what the hell you're talking about.".

So, -rep for you misinterpreting my post.. There was a fair amount of evidence, and Logic disapproved it AFTER my post. Fair enough, I shouldnt have said a 'known hacker'.. But the pictures suggested otherwise. Therefore technically, you gave me bad rep for voicing my opinion.
