Very choppy in places and also some missed areas but like you said its your first attempt mate. Try an image that has good pre defined lines, shapes,curves, colors,etc. it makes the learning process easier. keep at it, you'll definitely improve the more you practice.
This is pretty bad....the image quality isn't great.....add to this a bad cut and overall its bad.... You'll get better though....just keep trying and maybe read some tuts about the best way to cut a render
