Why?

I feel that Sony always over promises all the time. FOr instance, that Killzone 2 video at E3, I didn't believe for a second that it was actual in game play. Every PS3 trailer that has come out is "What they believe the hardware can do". But it is obvious because they are not actual gameplay, they are just cutscenes.

I am going with Microsoft because I believe they are honest and I reckon their vision for really developing online gaming wbe successful. The kid who got to play the XBOX 360 at his house said the controller is awesome along with the new UI. AS for games, they are signing on so many more quality developers than last time.

They're going to have a killer launch lineup.

actually they came out and said that killzone was ingame play with what they had shown and what critics say that the online gameplay from sony wont be as "in depth" as far as online store but they will have the great gameplay and are promising for free there also saying that there will be a version later which you can pay for and get a bunch of add-ons for online. And even though xbox was superior it had the time to work on it almost a year after the ps2 and the ps2 was still huge so with the extra time that sony will be spending on the ps3 there going to prove that they are the superior next gen gaming console with a variety of games coming out as soon as released. And there are going to be soo many things you can do with the ps3 to add on to it and tweak it for pple to say there turned off by the controllers....xbox had same prob but they modified theres so it wasnt so fat remember...if there is a problem with the controllers sony will fix. ps2 had all the same features as xbox with connecting ps2 to ps2 it was just shadowed....if you go into socom there is a lan setting so it is possible they just didnt advertise as much. Im sure they will with the ps3 thats my speil
Also someone said there buying for Halo.Perfect Dark.and Battlefield 2 well as BF2 is an ea game it will be on all consoles as well as it usually comes to sony first. Perfect Dark will be a good game but with as early as they created the game it will soon enough become less and less of a "great game" the game is already done there just tweaking it.
and imho the nintendo is now it its own class it shoots its games in a different way there more into family friendly have more of the anime type games*nothing wrong witht that* while sony and microft have focused on making as realistic a game as possible

 

Xbox360, cheap.. And it will have some sick ass FPS.. Quake4, Halo3... XBOX LIVE!!!
But I'm gonna save up and get a Ps3 too.. Killzone looks crazy

well i will first probly get the ps3 but if that is cheap and so is revolution than those two and 360 last inless it is also very cheap

im probably gonna go with the 360, just cuz it looks real nice with wireless controllers and free xbox live even though im gonna get the good version of xbox live.
