Apple To Make A Console?

I accually think they could make it. And it would look pretty awsome. But of course they would come out with all of the cool colours after the big release.

And the I-wii would be kinda cool

 

If they do it would be the best console. Like someone posted it could be fully intergrated with your iPod! Plug the iPod into the iConsole and you can play music on your TV with visualzations like on Windows media player

Yes, but then they will pull a sony move and they will start making everything.

You will have your i vision and your i consle. It will just get out of hand. And of course we know that it will be used to specialize in graphics ans photos

 

im a huge fan of mac apple thats all i own, but if they make a gaming system that wouldn't be that great.

 

Just because you copyright something doesn't always mean you are going to use it. Bethesda copyrighted a couple names for their Oblivion expansion, so noone could register them first.


And lmfao at Apple not being a good computer company. The Apple II was the most revolutionary computer of its time. It owned every other computer for almost a decade.


Making it a PC/Console would work IMO, having a menu like the 360's on which you could choose Media, Movies, IPOD, OSX, or Game.

It would cost an arm and a leg though, because OSX 10.4 needs 512Mbs of RAM to work smoothly.


Seeing as apple would never make a pc/console combo, this would fail.

Apple would have no chance in the market with the 360, PS3 and Wii already established.

 

That would be kinda funny to see. Apple creating a gaming console. Since the world doesnt really look to mac computers for gaming anyway.. For computers, all the companies have flooded the markets with games that are only compatable with Microsoft Windows. You dont go down the game iske seeing alot of stuff for mac, if any. So the though of apple creating a gaming console, since they are barely in the gaming industry, seems like a laugh... now seeing them create other electronics such as TV's (to compete with philips and all the rest) seems more probable. Even a cell phone with the same capabilities as an ipod, would be incredible. But there a little soggy on the gaming. Which is sad. I'm sure they could create an awesome game about a lone survivor on an alien planet miles away from home..and the only way to get back.....is to shoot out the aliens Windows...

 

An Apple console would fail IMO, as their key market is with music. Branching off into games would probably alienate many of their customers.

 

if its anything like the ipod they will break after like 1/2 a year

 

If they would end up making a console it would probably be really good.
