I know it seems a bit complex, but bear with me and I'll explain. I made this thread to see if there were any people out there who were fans of anything along the lines of Apocalyptic, Mythical, or Biblical theories and/or ideas. Personally, some of it appeals to me, like the Atlantis theory and so on. Anyways, I wanted to hear what kind of people we have on the forum when it comes to 2nd throughts on these things. While i am a fan of Apocalyptic theories and such, i try not to read too much into them concerning current events.
Well, the term 'apocalyptic' can apply to many things. Dictionary.reference.com defines 'apocalyptic' as the quality of being related to the Apocalypse, whether music and literature or theories and debates. Some examples are books by Tim Lahaye ('Babylon Rising' is a good series, also the 'Left Behind' series is good) or the whole '7 signs of the end of the world' kinda thing. Hope that helps!
