i heard that the 2500+ bartons wher the best athlon xp cpus to oc. but my friend oc's his fx51 with water cooling. his parents bought a plasma cutter for their buisness and he uses it to make custom side windows.

Overclocking is one of me hobbies, love it to bits. Me current A64 3000+ i got running at a shade under 2200Mhz, can run it at 2785Mhz (Very unstable beyond that without volt-modding [cnt do that tho cos i got sukky psu]and it shuts down at 2300Mhz under me current HSF). All in all you just have to check out what the limits of your chips are under whatever cooling your running and go from there. I have successfully managed to burn out nothing through overclocking yet tho, and I've been doing it for a while

Oh yeah, the barton 2500+ is the best Athlon xp for overclocking, one of me m8s got one and refused to OC it, wanted to thief ot off him to show him what it could do. The 64 equivalent would be the skt939 3500+ i thnk, wnt me one of them :)

I like to OC a bit, currently a sempron 2600 after my Athlon Melted thanks to a faulty HSF  but i have this at 2.3-2.4 stable, quite nice i must say, and my Galaxy 6600GT AGP is at 565/1120
