You guys should have known that Vista would suck at first. All new things from Microsoft suck. XP didnt get that good until SP2 and don't even mention anything before XP. Vista will be good for one thing only: Direct X 10. And i have been dual booting XP and one form of Vista or another (started with RC1 and moved to Ultimate Retail) for some time now. After RC1 would blue screen on the Nvidia drivers that came preinstalled and I had to basically manually change the Nvidia drivers my self I had very low expectations for Vista. All the new features of Vista are either crap or arent very new at all. The User Account Controls are just annoying and you either get no protection at all or the computer will ask if you really wanted to do what you just did every time you do ANYTHING in Vista. Macs are not better for Gfx. Windows can run anything OSX can graphics wise. The only thing that Mac has over PC is Final Cut --- and that was reason enough for me to get my Quad Xeon Mac --- but my PC remains my main computer for games and photoshop. Even if you install XP on the intel macs games still run better on PCs because of the chip sets not being optimized for anything but OSX.
Vista is awesome. I'm running it with no problems at all. Running x86 ultimate. And it even runs faster then XP on my pc.
