July 22nd though in the US prices are allready falling atleast in part. Fry's electronics(Frys.com also a physical store in my local area) offered a Q6600 for $300 and for $320 you got a q6600+a crappy board not too bad. sadly it's now like $600 I love some of their sales but you can often get ripped off there if you dont' knwo what you're getting
The only reason i am taking vista is to get ready for DX10 games that are coming out like Crysis. If XP could have DX10 i'd gladly stay with that!
Yeah annoyingly I changed it a little bit, i've gone with a wide screen 22" monitor AND a 150gig raptor HD, and an FX sound card, dunno which sound card to get yet though =oP
