First of all how do I find out if my PC has AGP or not without opening up the PC?
    ---------------------------

Ok I am wondering If I can run source games smoothly with these stats.

    1.00 Gb RAM

I am getting a new video card this week and here is what it is.

    Memory
    Memory Clock 400MHz
    Memory Size 256MB
    Memory Interface 128-bit
    Memory Type DDR
    3D API
    DirectX DirectX 9
    OpenGL OpenGL 1.5
    Ports
    D-SUB 1
    DVI 1
    TV-Out S-Video/Composite Out
    VIVO No
    General
    Tuner None
    Max Resolution 2048x1536
    Cooler Heatsink
    Operating Systems Supported Windows 2000/XP
System Requirements Intel Pentium 4, AMD or compatible CPUs
128 MB system memory or more
AGP compliant motherboard supporting AGP4X or AGP8X

    ------------------
Thats the video card I am getting.

    -----------------

    My processer is 2.0 GhZ

    ------------
So will I be able to run source games smoothly with 1.00 GB RAM and the new video card I am getting and a 2.0 ghz processer. Or to run the games smoothly do i need a better processer?

ok, everything should be set except for your CPU. A 2ghz CPU can not play most games. A 2.6 is the minimum for 99% of the games..

It might be a little choppy, but itll get the job done, the only problem i would say is gfx card is a lil low, but it'll do it

the main thing you will have problems with is you have intell

    AMD is better

and 2 GHz might be a lil bad, im sure you will be fine

im still going to be better than you
    ---------------------------------------
    today i looked at a computer, 500$

    2GB of RAM
    AMD duel core processor
Ge-force (forgot what it was, but normal price is 200$(but open box is 130$ :D))

    i win

go you, athlon x2 saddening that is going to suck compared to the newer processors and cost the same nearly a month from now...

and no, you probably cant. 400 Mhz Clock/RAM frequency just isnt enough on the gfx card, and the 4 pipelines doesnt help

so should I even get the video card? Because I want to run CSS. And the minimum for CSS is 1.2 GHZ

So is the GFX worth it if I wont be able to run it?

And how do I find out if I have an AGP slot or not?

you'll be able tor un it but not well. the card iss sufficeient, though, not great but acceptable.

you need to overclock your proc.

i'd opt for a vid card with faster memory though. The core isn't powerful enough to saturate all 256mbof that vRAM, but it is to saturate that mere 400mhz, mine runs at three times that.
try to get a 9600 with faster ram, don't worry about the amount of vRAM, so long as it's 128mb you're fine.

    EDIT:check mainboard part of CPUz

Guys, he has intergrated and has a 64 bit. He has to stop the getting of this card because he has a model 07W080 or Dell Dimention 2350 with NO AGP. So, the card is a no go. The RAM also didn't help too awful much. T-T
