If you are using a Tabbed browser or something then just close the browser (You can leave the tabs). If you are using Opera then it will save the tabs opened. Then, when you open the browser back up, you shouldn't have this problem. If you are getting your IP from a DNS server then your IP lease more than likely expired and then you got the problems of it working off and on.

I had this problem, got it fixed.

First, do you have a router and modem? Are you using it, or are you connected with your wireless adapter?

Say you have a 3-story house, like me, your router pc is on top floor and wireless adapter pc is on bottom floor. You will need to get Wireless-G Router Extender because your second pc keeps loosing the connection causing your router to reset and it messes with your connection.

It helped me so much, and if that isn't your problem, sorry but I can't really help you anymore except call your ISP.

What kind of router are you using? We have a Dell router, which does crap like this, so about once a day, we have to unplug the router for about 30 seconds, plug it back in, and it works okay for another day.

LMAO, that may explain it. :P

Actually, the reason you unplug it is to give it a chance to cool down..but my leaving it in the fridge, you may have shortened it's lifespan, because it cooled down so fast while it was warmed up.

Now again, what make/model is your router? :P
