    For 2d stuff, Image Ready is the best. Animation Shop is alright.. for 3d animations.. umm. I dunno, ask Crypt about those.

    when I do it in imageready, it's never smooth

    Well, there's 2 secrets that I figured out to make animations smooth in Image Ready.

    Well, there's a few things you need to keep in mind to make animations smooth in Image Ready. That goes for movies, custom made sprite animatins and simple layer movements.
