    step one:

open up photoshop and create your sig

step two: create a new layer, and click the "Rectangle marque tool"
    http://img162.exs.cx/img162/5886/layout18tt.jpg

now make a small vertical bar with the rectangle marquee tool.

it doesn't matter where you put it.
    don't deselect it yet!

k, now go to your fill tool, and set the opacity to about 40.
The opacity can be changed in your layer pallet.

now use the following settings on the bar layer

    drop shadow:

    inner shadow:
    http://img161.exs.cx/img161/6417/innershadow2oq.jpg

    belevle and emboss:

    Gradient overlay:

    stroke:
    http://img161.exs.cx/img161/2417/stroke0sa.jpg

    ok!
Now move the bar layer to where you want the bar to start...

    ok!
now what you do is ctrl-shift-M to bring you to image ready!

    *horro music*
don't be scared of imageready! its easy!

ok, now duplicate your current frame in your anim pallet:
    http://img192.exs.cx/img192/6820/animbar1am.jpg

now once that duplicated layer is there, move your bar to wherever you want the bar to end I suggest using the right and left arow keys ONLY!, that way it stays straight once animated.

ok, now tween it, *tween* new word. tweening basically takes two pictures that has one thing moving. then the computer fills in every single frigin pixle move to make it smooth.^^ so easy!
    to tween click this.
    http://img161.exs.cx/img161/8261/tween2qs.jpg

now once you click that a box will appear, don't worry it won't blow up your computer^^

use these settings for the smoothest, and medium speed, but you can change it if you like, experiment!

    http://img198.exs.cx/img198/5852/tweeningit3nr.jpg

your done! if you want to go one step further, you can make the bar come back. go to your last frame on the animation pallete. and click the tween, when the box appears, only change the tween with thing. and change it to first frame. there ya go! fini! now save optimized, and your done! Heres my final jersion:
