I know a few of you guys play, but when I installed it the screen just goes black.. I mean.. is that what it's 'sposed to do? 'Cause.. I wasted like 2 hours DLING it and then now it doesn't work :S So yeah, can any AA players tell me Thanks.
do the basics mate, *check that your computer specs can handle it *update graphics drivers and direct x *make sure windows is up to date *make sure your computer isnt overheating *reinstall if nothing works if that dosnt work, i dont know what will
Mate, you didn't answer my question, mate. I asked if the screen goes black, you gave me some random crap that I already know of and done so.
I had that problem too, but when I tried on my other PC it works fine, no black screen or anything, weird, the other PC is horrible but it runs it, always goes black for me on here, I just gave up on it, it's not worth the trouble So, to answer your question, it's not supposed to go black.

that happened to me once, i just re downloaded it, from a diff site, then worked out fine, good game choice btw, ive been playing it since it came out
Oh really now? All games go to a black screen for 10 minutes and still don't load and make me restart? I don't think so.
That's why CoD2 doesn't go black for me, ever, right mate? I'm trying to find a way to fix your problem, but no luck yet.
Alright, thanks, at least someone is trying to help and not saying that black screens are what games are 'sposed to begin with, I have over... hm.. 10 PC games on my computer right now and none does that.
1st.. Chill out.. Ppl are trying to help.. also.. If u live in the US... Go to a Army Recurit Station and They'll give u a AA game DISC. That might help, becuase the downloaded could be bad
