Well, i did a google search and well i didn't really understand anything the websites said about AMD and Pentium anyways, i'm just wondering which one is better for Online games such as battlefield and unrealtournament and running big programs like photoshop c4d cinema, etc... thanks
In anything but video encoding Amd > Intel. Quiter, cooler, and better performance in games. So for you - AMD dja
AMD is the gaming processor. recently AMD beat intel in sale prices . goes to show that computers are mosty used for games
i have an intell pentium 4 but if i do end up buildin a computer when i get a job i would probaly go for and amd just cause of the feed ack and most gamers use em.
yeah AMD is way better than pentium cause me and my mate done a comparison and everything on his was quicker and lower to mine lol but i dont know wat im talknig about im just rambling lol YAY
AMD pwns everything. An AMD Athlon XP 3000+ (clocked at ~2.3GHz) can beat the ass off a 2.7GHz Intel Celeron D. why? the intel has to work twice as hard as a AMD to do the same process. with AMD you save on heat, excellerate speed, and just overall better.
I go for AMD it's much better than Intel and the support from the company is better if you need it. I haven't but my dad back... Iunno 20 some years was trying to do some testing and called up Intel to ask for a price for a bulk order but it would be a small one so the guy ripped on him and then hung up after saying that they wouldn't do it because he wasn't buying a ----load. They're just a big money whoring company. AMD All The Way.
No offense but if you are going to compare an AMD XP to an Intel chip compare it to the P4, not a lot of people use celerons for gaming But like everyone else has said AMD has become the gamers Processor, thats not to say an Intel chip won't serve you just as well, but AMD has a history of being cheaper and more bang for your buck.
AMD all the way. If you are interested in gaming, video editing and such, AMD processor is the right choice for you. I used to have an AMD Athlon XP processor two years ago. Then last year I upgraded to an AMD Athlon 64 and it was the bomb.
Unfortunently, some of us do. <_< From what I know, Intel finds/invents new technologies, and AMD perfects them.
