actually building it yourself would save you heaps of money also the performance would be much greater than a pre-built and go the intel way
depends. sometimes bundling cans ave you when you factor in software and peripherals. for me most of the time software is taken care of and I consider the included peripherals absolute crap.
Omg, that is an absolute bitchy process getting that stuff to work. I'm pretty knowledgeable with networking, but the compatibility issues between the two are so varied and annoying. Make sure your network on Vista is set as a Private network, and utilize the Public shared folder on the Vista machine... that's how I do all my transfers.
I couldn't network them for some reason and it was annoying so I just took out the HDD from my old PC and installed it into the new one and transferred the files. It was probably ALOT faster and much eaiser so it wasn't as bad as that networking issue. haha Thanks for the help though.
