Been done many times. AMD at the moment. By July, Intel. Possible AMD might take it back in Q4 with K8L.
AMD all the way!!! I will ALWAYS be a huge AMD fan.... mainly because they took Intel off their throne. Well, that, and their processors outpreform Intel's...
Are you kidding me? I have my MCSE and CCNA certification, and I don't know what I'm talking about? Before you go uttering words of nonsense, make sure you know that whoever you're talking about is, in fact, what you say they are.
I'm using AMD, and I like it alot. Intel doesn't appeal to me, and from past experience. I would say AMD is better.
Agreed, I just like how everyone automatically assumes that because your post doesn't go into great details regarding the nature of the original post, then you have no clue what you're talking about...lol. Another reason why I don't come here that often...
Intel for office, and AMD for gaming, and an all around better experience. I have 2 computers one running a AMD Athlon 64 3500+, and a AMD Athlon Dual Core 64 4800+, and they are both top notch. I personally have had bad experiances with Intel. But i dunno, personal peferrance i guess. EDIT: I put 4800+, I ment 3800+.
from what I see it, as of the moment, AMD has approximately a 25% overall performance lead... and at a lower cost to the consumer... as of next month with intel's conroe, that will be switched mroe or less the otherway, with intel having between a 10-25% performance lead - and at a lower cost to the consumer... unfortunately for intel... http://www.google.com/search?q=amd+intel+o...:en-USfficial they fail in office productivity as well...
If you need it now, AMD is the way to go but if you can wait until august you will want to get an Intel I havnt realy liked intel until recently.
