Is it possible to apply HTML on the signature? I had a really good idea, but looks like i cant do it because it seems like you cant apply HTML to sigs...

You can have it. But the admin has set it so you cant do it. And i think it is a bad idea. As i have a code. Which many people could easily find. That when you roll over me sig it re-directs you to my site. :P So would you want that?

You can easily do this with flash...

And there are plenty of sites that allow flash sigs.

It's quite easy to take care of a problem like that....

As people have said, allowing HTML could be abused with people using it to redirect or run scripts, so it defenetly cannot be allowed. This is the case on nearly all forums I believe.

in that case why not make a rule saying that no javascript should be used in the sigs, if a person is found doing this you can ban him, that sound good? All i want is a 'very basic' html drop down box so that it is 'user friendly'
