Hmm..I dont see the point really..Its the same think as buying seperate parts except you get a case..and some extra parts that you can sell..

    Custom GMV

For alienware, alot of the price is the name. You are paying for the name. Yes, they are very good computers, but also very expensive compared to what you could do with a custom, for cheaper.

    My two cents

if you're getting an intel proc, you will be disappointed, AMDs x2s annihilate them. the 2.0GHZ Athlon X2 3800+ rapes the 3.2GHZ PXE in quite a few things and it costs about 700$ less. the athlon x2 4800+ completely owns the 3.4GHZ PXE though, just rapes it hard.

    don't beleive me?

Alienware. Fast custom computer parts don't always correspond and can break. Alienware is expensive, but garunteed to work until trade-in.

conversely, you could save the cash and buy a new computer twice as often, or buy more powerful parts. If you are loaded with cash, thouh by all means go alien ware, but if you have a budget under 10,000$ building is a lot smarter.

Alienware are the most expensive systems you can Imagine. They are very good (better than most prebuild PC's ) but they are just overpriced. Build your own. its more fun

If you have alot of money and don't know to build PC's, then go for Alienware. If you know how to build them and want to pay ALOT less, build your own.
