Yo has anyone got to see the new alexander clips they cut out of the movie? I cant believe they cut them from the movie, they were so good....especially the battle scenes, really added a lil more drama and flavor to the movie..if ur interested you can check out the clips at www.myspace.com/alexanderrevisited ive watched them so many times. ok well im off, lemme know what you think of the movie
The reason alexander was disapointing was bc it was hyped up so much. it was actually not a bad movie but it didnt live up to the hype.
oh well, heres a good thing then, oliver stone isnt just adding new scenes to the original alexander, hes actually going back and recutting the entire movie thats why im so excited about it. And i dont htink 300 will let anyone down, and if u get the free pass thats included in the alexander dvd how can you lose =)
I wouldn't compare the two. I think alexander appeals more to fans of realism (people like myself who are into history) rather than people who are into just seeing big battle sequences on screen. I'm looking forward to 300 but I'm also interested in seeing the new Alexander cut. I thought the original movie was quite good (and underrated by far, though many aspects are classic oliver stone subversiveness that would upset people looking for a idealistic and unrealistic Alexander) def have both on my too watch list (apparently they have tickets for 300 in the new alexander revisited cut so I'm def going to pick it up) BTW has anyone else seen this yet? http://www.myspace.com/alexanderrevisited looks like you can ask oliver stone questions about the movie.
