You'll never hear me claim athletes don't work hard for their money, but in general they get paid way to much. Most top athletes get an even bigger income from advertising then they get from their teams. none the less if i was a top athlete i'd do the exact same thing so who am i to judge

hell nah no one deserves 25 million dollars or even close to that...unless u actually save peoples lives or some thing. i mean seriously what is the world coming to when some kids can hit a baseball and gets paid more than an honored graduate or a doctor who actually went to college for like 10 years after highschool...then some kid comes out of nowhere and shoots hoops,or hits a ball and gets paid over 25 times what a doctor gets paid just to entertain people. thats how sick this world is now.i sure as hell wouldnt pay someone 25 million dollars or even a million to entertain me...its pathetic.

Because he lead that over-paid Yankees team right to the World Series!! Oh Wait!!!! They didn't make it that far did they?!?! LOL. If anything, they should give him his walking papers, and send that 25 mil to the red sox to share with each other for actually winning the World Series.
