    Its kind of like a cross between aim and msn.

    Just it sucks.
    Stick with either aim, or msn..or trillian. Whatever you allready use.

    Of course if you do wanna try it out, you can install and uninstall it without messin up your current aim.

    Yeah i use the older versions of AIM, not the latest ones.

    I have it and I like it for some reason. I am considering trillian though but I have always been to lazy to configure it. any advantages to trillian over GAIM 2 beta? does it transfer better

    Alone it does, with something like AIMutation it isnt..

    of course that got discontinued sadly..

    I use trition right now and it sucks....i mean the radio is a cool idea and stuff but in the long run if you Direct Connect on the older AIM alot andu wanna pass files fast instead of file sending then you have to sta wiht the old one....the new one is alot of hassl wiht making a plaxo account for ppl to find u and crap...and then sometimes it forgets ur password..

    Now they did add a new AIM browser wiht tabbed browsing and tabbed chat windows so there arent chat windows all over ur screen.,but there are hacks and mods for the old version to do tat stuff...and its like a 25 mins install on 300kpb DSL

    All in all dont get it unless u want a cleaner look and a radio . tabbed chatting and a new AIM browser that lets disable AIM Today and the banner ads.

    Triton sucks, I would much rather use the BETA version of it before they loaded it up with that skin and that gay as AIM browser..
