Agent,exe?

i saw some program on my pc running called agent.exe
i googled it and im still not quite sure what it is

 

if youi dont know what it is, and you dont need it:

start -> run -> msconfig -> startup tab, uncheck agent

well im thinking it might be some kind of security thing my dad put on the computer..

agent.exe is an admin program installed on Dell computers. It's also the running file for a cyberlink TV tuner that's used to schedule TV recording via a PC.

If in doubt, download Hitman --- http://www.techspot.com/downloads/1278-hitman----.html

and run it overnight to kill any possible nasties anyhow.

 

Actually Ithink it is a security program. And wow your dad would be shocked once he sees all the naughty stuff on your PC.

Its a system thing for Acronis True Image Agent which is a partionin program it aint harmful at all.
