    I'm trying to find a good but cheap computer that my family can afford to buy me since I dont have a job at the moment. So I came up with a example of a computer I like and I would like if anyone could give suggestions for a different computer or if I customized computer would be better and what parts do you suggest.

    1. what will you and/or your family use it for? gaming? gfx?

    2. what is your budget, and do you need monitor, keyboard, mouse, XP?

    3. just give us a link to this computer idea..

    socket 754 athlon 64 3000+
    1GB RAM in 2 512mb strips(not dual channel though)
    no GFX card
    AGP GFX port.
    relatively limited upgrade route on the whole

    not sure about the monitor...

    it's acceptable, check the link to what I had above, c2d + monitor and an acceptabe GFX card for 730, 530 w/o monitor.
