    Hello.

I was just wondering what you guys think is the best all round program:

    Adobe Photoshop or Macromedia Firework.

Also if you think one is better than the other for a certain cateagory, say that :) eg) Which is best for web desingers, which is better for photomanipulation.

    Thanks

Yea we are using it in college, they have photoshop and i'm the only one that uses it lol, and it's version 6 lol. Were supposed to use Fireworks but becasue i'm used to photoshop i don't seem to like Fireworks as much.

My lecturer said that photshop is better for photomanipulation but fireworks is better for design. It seems ok though.

macromedia was bought by adobe, but I think these both are still diff. programs though.

Oh yeah, I feel more comfortable with photoshop although fireworks was my first software.

I can't believe this question was just asked.

It's like the GIMP or photoshop question...

    Kinda obvious no?

Photoshop is more powerful, but I think fireworks is a bit simpler.

Overall I think photoshop is a better program though.

the only thing I use fireworks for is rendering cause I find a little more versitlity in that area, other than that I haven't found other uses for fireworks compared to CS2
