The people who say "nothing is different" and things along those lines are the people who don't make use of photoshop past basic signature-creation.

I have the Master Collection. This is the best thing i've ever gotten from Photoshop and i've not even scratched the surface of this thing's capabilities. definitely worth the wait.

I just got it, here's a screeny of it. Pretty ugly imo, might just keep CS3.

Haven't gone through a lot, but the tabbed windows are pretty cool.

Full version came out, yesterday? I think.

Still using CS2. Don't honestly delve into photoshop enough to justify buying a newer version.

I have to buy it for school. My brother wants some programs that don't come in design premium, so I'm going to buy the Master collection. I can get it for about $500. It's a bit weird right now: I have to buy CS3 Master and wait for the distributor to receive CS4, then I guess they'll ship it to me. Probably one of the only times the Master collection will be upgradable. It's an educational thing, all the Oregon schools teamed up to get some pretty sweet discounts. I could get PS CS4 Extended for $195, legally. Just can't use it commercially.

Frankly, I don't need the upgrade right now. I'm still learning the CS2 features for photo-editing. Unfortunately, I need two programs for next term, and it's cheaper to buy the Master collection than to buy those two programs separately.

It's really got some impressive stuff. IMO the biggest improvement/addition is the whole 3D side of things. Definitely worth the money if use Photoshop daily and not just to make sigs or whatever.
