So this is pretty old I know, but I only very recently found out about this through a friend and I really really enjoyed it so I thought I'd share. This is a lecture by a Carnegie Mellon professor who died last summer. If you want more information about him here's the link And this is hiswebsite And finally here's the actual lecture. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ji5_MqicxSo Sorry I don't know how to embed videos.
My Active Citizenship class is doing an assignment on him. Amazing man, with glorifying human morality, and extreme will-power, and intelligence. I sorta wanted to cry at the end of the Last Lecture. He's a true hero to the world. <3Pausch, and The Last Lecture.
Yea the only reason I bothered watching this was because it brought my friend to tears. I mean that doesn't really mean much considering she's a girl and they usually cry about everything but I was intrigued nonetheless. I have to agree with you he is an amazing man and quite funny among everything else you mentioned. That's what suprised me the most, you're not expecting to laugh with a man who only has/had months to live yknow? .:Edit:. Oh and it definitely got me interested enough to want to read the book that was written by Jeff *forgotlastname*
Watching it atm, going to have to pause it and go to sleep soon but it's a lot more interesting than I thought a YouTube video of a lecture could be
Yea, it is pretty old. But it still has the same effect it did when I first watched it ages ago, truly a moving tale.
