About Video Tut

    I have make one video tut.. Its lenght is 20 minutes but.. it is 500mb! Any idea how to reduce the size.. Its 1280 x 800.. TQ..

    Reduce the size, change the encoders, dim down the levels for the encoders..Umm stuff like that :)

    Encode it with divx or wmv codecs for the video and maybe do some sound compression if any. Although I only stick to making avi files with divx compression. I hate wmv

    put it in WMM and save it again, that usually compresses things, unless its already been compressed.

    I did a 40 min vid and it was only 30-50MB, so

    Please stop making useless posts like this one. If you haven't got an answer... don't bother posting. ;)

    As for making the video size smaller... which programs do you have?

    Camtasia studio can edit the size of the video, and still have good quality. I made a video tutorial last night that was like 5 minutes long at 1280X1024 to begin with at about 20 MB... I sized it down to 800X600 and it dropped about 8 MB. Big difference even for such a short video. ;)
